The first is the service bulletin and work instructions that describe the repairs/modifications for a "binding throttle".
There was also an additional issue with the throttles on the models that used the 406 cab in that proper adjustment was
a bear due to the wire link to the dashboard hand throttle. They corrected this with a "new style" hand throttle phased in in late
1980. It was applied to all 403,413,406,416 models after that, and the subsequent 417 and 419 models.
It was much more positive and eliminated the wire completely and a lot of linkage. The attached illustrations describe the parts
to be thrown away, the parts to be retained and the new parts to be added to change an earlier unit to the "new style" throttle.
A very worthwhile conversion.
